made known through a statement by the governor’ permanent secretary Izam Azi. Those appointed take up their posts immediately. Lalong appointed Rufus Bature secretary to the state government; Emmanuel Nanle – the director of press affairs; John Wade – the director general for research; John Dafa’an – chief of staff, Government House; Yusuf Hawaja – deputy chief of staff, Government House; Silas Vem – deputy chief of staff, deputy governor’s office; Cyril Tsenyil – accountant general; Cletus Kangkum – principal private secretar.
