Buhari Must Stop The Chaos In Ekiti - Minister

7:30 AM
Minister of State for Works, Prince Dayo Adeyeye has called on the
president-elect, Mohammadu Buhari, to immediately intervene in the crisis between the Ekiti State House of Assembly and Governor Ayo Fayose.
The Minister, according to pointblanknews.com, said the All Progressives Congress (APC) members in the State House of Assembly were capitalising on Buhari’s victory to cause crisis in Ekiti.
He pleaded with Buhari not to allow the house of assembly take advantage of his victory to foment anarchy in the state.
Prince Adeyeye described the impeachment moves by the state house of assembly against Governor Fayose as a desperate plot to seize power through the backdoor.
He said: “Why must there be crisis in Ekiti each time the APC elements lose
power to the PDP?
“Should Ekiti State be held down whenever APC elements lose power?
“Gen Buhari must not let these desperate APC  members in Ekiti State
drag his name and reputation in the mud by using his name to cause
chaos in Ekiti. “
he pleaded.
In the same vein, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has critcised the members of the Ekiti State house of assembly for what it described as “fomenting crises”.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Olisa Metuh, said this as he answered questions from reporters at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja on  April 7, Tuesday.
Metuh said it was wrong for members of the State House of Assembly whose tenure would expire soon to undermine the peace of the state.
