2015: Okorocha Ignores CAN Invitation

5:19 AM
Ahead of the delayed 2015 elections, the Imo state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria held an interactive session with the governorship candidates of all the registered political parties in the state, yesterday, February 9.
All the governorship candidates honoured the invitation except the governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha, who was absent.

The interactive session was held at All Saints Anglican Cathedral, Egbu.
Speaking at the event, the Anglican Bishop of Okigwe South, Rt. Rev. David O.C. Onuoha, asked the governorship candidates to caution their supporters against destroying other contestants’ posters and billboards.
He said that any candidate who does not win a governorship seat this year should look forward to 2019 as the state can only have one governor at a time.
