Bayelsa State Governor, Mr. Seriake Dickson, on Thursday
issued a dire warning to the governorship aspirants eyeing his position
in next year’s election.
The Nation said Dickson gave the warning following indications that a camp of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyal to Dame Patience, the wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, was strategizing to kick him out of office.
He said governorship aspirants should shelve their ambitions and wait for the right time, adding that it was irresponsible for people to heat up the state’s polity over a governorship election that will hold next year.
